Lunch of seasonal tagines served under white ceramic lids on the patio

At midday

A Moroccan lunch

Seasonal tagines simmered slowly under their lids, a table of small Moroccan salads, bread warm from the oven — and couscous, the dish Moroccan families share on Fridays.

Lunch is served on the patio, in the shade of the plants. Just let the team know in advance.

On the Moroccan table

  • Couscous

Fine semolina steamed three times and crowned with seven vegetables — the Friday dish.

  • Tagines

Chicken with preserved lemon and olives, lamb with prunes and almonds, vegetables of the season.

  • Moroccan salads

Aubergine zaalouk, roasted peppers, carrots with cumin — the small salads that open every Moroccan meal.

  • Moroccan breakfast & mint tea

Msemmen and baghrir warm from the pan, honey, amlou and olive oil — and mint tea poured from high.

In the evening

Dinner by candlelight

When the lanterns are lit, the table is set on the patio: a chicken tagine with preserved lemon, Moroccan salads, fresh bread, then mint tea and pastries to end the day.

Dinner is prepared to order in the riad’s kitchen — tell the team earlier in the day and mention any dietary needs.
